TH!NK Namibia Projects
Over the past years, a number of ‘green’ projects have formed the basis of the different phases of the TH!NK Namibia Campaign. The campaigns targeted individuals with information and educational content related to aspects of environmental awareness and climate change, water conservation, climate-smart agriculture, sustainable forest management, renewable energies and sustainable development.
Pathway to Renewable Off-Grid Community Energy for Development (PROCEED) Project
Project duration: 2019 - 2023
The German-Namibian collaborative project “PROCEED” examines options for using off-grid hybrid energy systems to establish an efficient and sustainable power supply in Namibia that is based on renewable sources of energy.
Namibia Sustainable Forest Management (NSFM) Project

The ‘Namibia Sustainable Forest Management (NSFM) Project‘, funded by the European Union (EU) (2020 – 2023), seeks to support an active multi-stakeholder dialogue on Sustainable Forest Management (SFM)
Aquaponics Project Namibia
Project duration: 2020 - 2021
The Aquaponics Project aims to supporting in the improvement of local knowledge and skills training as well as human capacity development on climate-resilient aquaponics and is funded by the Embassy of Finland.
Promoting Renewable Energies in Namibia (PREN) Project
Project duration: 2017 - 2019
To unveil Namibia’s potential with regards to renewable energies, the ‘Promoting Renewable Energies in Namibia’ (PREN) Project funded by the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit (BMZ) was implemented (2017 – 2019).
Environmental Awareness and Climate Change Project

The ‘Environmental Awareness Project and Climate Change Project’ (Enviromental Awareness; 2015 – 2017) was implemented as a three-year project aiming at contributing to environmental sustainability through awareness-raising on environmental protection issues as well as climate change adaptation and mitigation.
