On 21 October 2021, the long-overdue Key Stakeholder Consultation Event for Zambezi Region took place. This event, like many events, had to be postponed due to the third Covid-19 wave hitting Namibia during the winter months. As a morning session before the days’ main event of the NSFM-Project in Katima Mulilo [‘Plant more, cut less trees’ – Panel Discussion in Katima Mulilo], the Key Stakeholder Consultation aimed at introducing the NSFM-Project to all Key Stakeholders that have not been visited during the pre-visitation trip in April 2021. Furthermore, it aimed at learning from the attendees what kind of challenges they are facing in their daily life with forest management.
